This book is a lay-flat sewn hardback book. Lay-flat sewn binding is also called as section sewn binding or Smyth sewn binding,which uses threads to sew through folded signatures of a book. Signatures are then folded into groups of pages, usually 16 or 24 at a time. Each signature is sewn individually with threads going through each page several times. The threads are then tied off. All of the signatures are likewise attached together with thread creating what is called the book block. The book block is further strengthened using flannel and adhesive on the spine. In contrast to oversewing, through-the-fold books have wide margins and can open completely flat. Various kinds of sewing stitches exist. While Western books are generally sewn through punched holes or sawed notches along the fold, some Asian bindings use small slits instead of punched holes.

The color of our digital sample is 95% similar to that of printed sample on Heidelberg printer. They are put in our strict color management system. 2)How can I get a sample to check your quality?

After price confirmation, you can require for samples to check our quality.If you just need a blank sample to check the design and paper quality, we will provide you sample for free, as long as you afford the express freight.

3)How long can I expect to get the sample?  

After you pay the sample charge and send us confirmed files, the samples will be ready for delivery in 3-7 days. 

The samples will be sent to you via express and arrive in 3-5 workdays. 

You can use your own express account or prepay us if you do not have an account.

4)What about the lead time for mass production?

Honestly, it depends on the order quantity and the season you place the order.  

Generally speaking, we suggest that you start inquiry two months before the date you would like to get the products at your country.
